At Thainarak.net we are all so excited and so involved in the preparations for the happy event that we have been a little absent in recent times.
For all who missed our posts, and everyone else, we have decided to realize a special reportage for the very special occasion.
Mai's wedding is to be held in Chiang Mai in the morning of November 23rd.
The day, chosen as for Thai tradition by Buddhist monks, is particularly charming, being the day before "Kratong Lek", first day of Chiang Mai's Loy Kratong, fascinating and colorful Buddhist Festival celebrating the legacy between human beings and the water spirits.

A private ceremony, in traditional Lanna style, will be held in "Lam Mai Fai Chang Resort".
A private garden, not far from Mai's hometown, with its rich tropical vegetation and small waterfalls will offer a perfect spot for an outdoor ritual.
At the presence of about 50 guests, Bride and Groom will be pronounced husband and wife at exactly 8:09 am.

A small waterfall will be witness of the "mad mou" ceremony and the blessings that the couple will receive from relatives and closest friends.
At 11:00 am the celebrations will move to a nearby traditional Lanna restaurant where about 500 people are expected to cheer the couple and have some fun with local singers, fire works and special events that will go on all day long and until late night.
We can't wait to witness the real wedding, in the meantime we can enjoy an exclusive sneak peak of the pre-wedding photographic service of just few days ago.
